Car did NOT like the heat - engine overheating in slow moving or stand still traffic and brakes finally giving in around Basel!
Trip to the garage later and we were back on the road - turns out the brake issue was diagnosed as 'user error' - handbrake still partially on whilst driving!
Shot out to the Flintstones lads for giving us some top tips and advice - much appreciated (if the brakes are too hot pee on them!)
